I attended this week long training program conducted by Elements of Agility (EoA) with my team of 12 developers. The training consultant has actual work experience in agile delivery and is skilled in the area of Scrum, product delivery and related agile practices.
The examples and exercises made it very easy to understand and appreciate what we learnt. We are able to apply techniques like estimation, user stories, and various ways of conducting retrospectives at work.
The training sessions were very engaging and the program was very cost-effective. The additional AMA sessions were an added bonus to discuss specific areas of interest. For those of you looking for training and workshops in the area of agile delivery, I strongly recommend the programs from Elements of Agility. For the teams that I engage with in Delivery and L&D, I orchestrated this 6 week long workshop from Elements of Agility (EoA) focused on upskilling budding leaders, program managers, enterprise architects etc. EoA designed the workshop catering to the needs of the product suite, organizational business strategy and caliber of team. Executives at various levels within the organization viz. Leadership, Delivery and Operations were involved in establishing, customizing the topics, content and pedagogy for the workshop.
The Chief Consultant from EoA was very responsive, flexible and skillful. In terms of skills and knowledge required to conduct such workshops on agility, value oriented delivery and professional agile leadership the consultants from EoA bring in a lot of value to the table as they possess real IT delivery experience. The Consultant also improvised with Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions in between weekly workshop sessions to maintain continuity, to support participants with their assignments and to help them open up and discuss on related topics of interest. Such AMA sessions, the Case Studies discussed in the workshop and the references provided to various Knowledge Bytes by EoA on LinkedIn and other knowledge portals was an added bonus.
